Vacaville - Berryessa Loop
Meet at Pena Adobe Regional Park and join me for a snippet of the
Knoxville Double. We will tour our way out to Mankas Corner and
Wooden Valley. From there we head to Hwy 121/Monticello Rd, to Hwy
128, stopping in Moscowitz Corner for food and water. After the
climb up Cardiac Hill we get to enjoy a wonderful descent past Lake
Berryessa and then a pleasant ride back over Pleasants Valley Rd
that takes us back to the start. Meet at the Pena Adobe Park at
8:45 a.m. for a 9:00 departure. Bring food or money to buy.

Tour de Alameda
Join us on a leisurely scenic tour of Alameda, complete with bike
boulevards, stately old homes, the old naval substation, and of
course water all around. LT to T pace -- the island has a 25 mph
speed limit, but we won't even come close to being in danger of
getting a ticket. Lunch will be at Harbor Bay Landing shopping
center towards the end of the ride so you may want to bring a snack
as well as the usual water, helmet and layers. Newcomers and

A mix of the toxic and the scenic! Come explore the contrasts
offered by the geography of the Delta on a ride that will include a
variety of landscapes and start and end with hilliness. We will

Crockett, the Zampa Bridge, Vallejo, Lake Herman, pass the ghost
fleet in Benicia, take the bridge into Martinez and head back

Join us on this joyful ride through the rolling hills of Marin for
later to arrive to the seashore, via Novato Blvd., Chileno Valley,
and Tomales, where we will have lunch. Later, we will proceed along
the coast to Point Reyes, where we will have some pastries, coffee
or tea. Via Nicasio, and Lucas Valley we will return where our cars
are. We will set up a steady pace that it will allow everybody to
ride as a group ; there will be several brief regroups, but we will
try to keep the flow going . This ride is specifically designed for
people aimed to ride 200 km, or 200 miles, later in the season.

Alex's Second Saturday All-Club Ride
This is the GPC monthly all-club ride. Meet at Orinda BART lot at
9:00 a.m. for a prompt 9:15 departure. The first 7.5 miles all pace
groups ride together at a social pace...you ll ride with club
members you might not see for the rest of the month. After that, we
split into five separate pace groups: LT pace group (total distance
about 23 mi); T pace group (total about 55 mi); TM pace groups
(totals of 32 or 65 mi); M pace group (total 75+ mi). A TM group
for the 75+ mile route will be organized if enough riders are
interested. All routes are pretty hilly. More information about

Coleman Valley Birthday Loop
Join Janet and Bill for a scenic celebration of Janet's birthday.
Meet us at Ragle Ranch Park (500 Ragle Rd) in Sebastopol at 9:45
for a 10:00 a.m. start. We will warm up by rolling along the ridge,
then dropping down to Valley Ford. Then we heard north on Hwy 1 to
Bay Hill Road, a quiet climb with panoramic views of Bodega Bay.
Then we continue north on Hwy 1, with views of the Pacific Ocean,
to the exhilarating climb of Coleman Valley Rd. We roll along the
ridge until we drop down through Occidental, descending to

Head out Skyline to Redwood. Down Redwood rd to Castro Valley. Out
Castro Valley BLVD to Palomares. We will do the all of Palomares
and then turn around at Niles and do Palomares in the other
direction. Palomares is lovely in both directions and we won't even
set foot on Niles Canyon. Return Redwood, Pinehurts, Skyline, back
to park. Bail out point is Castro Valley BART, which knocks off 18

Gordon and Wooden Valleys
Meet 8:00 a.m. at Spruce St and Grizzly Peak Blvd in Berkeley for a

beautiful Gordon and Wooden Valleys in Solano County. The 100 mile
version skips two out-and-backs to the north ends of the valleys
and instead enjoys a (leaderless) sit-down lunch in Rockville. For
the 120 mile version, pack some sandwiches because we will keep
riding -- right up to the Napa County border -- while the other
folks eat lunch. We'll plan to link up with them again in
Rockville. We expect to be back before dark (sunset is 17:51) but

Old La Honda - Gazos & Tunitas Creek Loops
Enjoy great scenery, the Old La Honda and Tunitas Creek climbs and
those pesky smaller ones (Pescadero and Stage Rd). Faster riders
will enjoy an optional 15 mile jaunt south along the coast with a
return to Pescadero via Gazos Creek. Lunch in a Pescadero garden
setting where you may feast on memorable artichoke bread and
award-winning goat cheese. Meet at 9:00 a.m. for a 9:15 start from

Directions: from the East Bay go south on I-880 to the San Mateo

Extended Old La Honda - Gazos & Tunitas Creek
Loops
Extended version of the TMM 67 mile Old La Honda ride described
above, adding 9.5 miles each on the beginning and end, and two
optional segments totaling 10 miles during the ride. Meet at the
intersection of Hwy 92 and Canada Road, just east of I-280, at 8:15
for an 8:30 departure to join the TMM ride from Woodside. Our ride
will include the 15 mile loop south along the coast and return to
Pescadero via Gazos Creek described above. As an option, by shaving
meal stops (passing up the artichoke bread and goat cheese), we
will explore Pompano Creek and Lobitos Creek roads, then finish
together. NWS chance of rain of 20% cancels; although sunset is at

King Ridge
Meet at 9:30 a.m. in Duncans Mills for a ride that deserves its
place on everyone's all-time accomplishment list (we'd say
"favorites," but the joy of suffering is entirely subjective).
We'll climb King Ridge, a road the pros train on, and return via
Hauser Bridge, Seaview, and Fort Ross Rd inland. It is a remote,
challenging route suitable for experienced and self-sufficient
riders with specatular views from the ridge. There is no food or
water after Cazadero so be prepared. Clothing/layers suitable to a

GP-T-GR : Grizzly Peak Touring Pace Group Ride
The objective of these rides is to practice riding together as a
VERY CLOSE GROUP. WE WILL PRACTICE DRAFTING, RIDING IN A PACELINE,
AND MORE. These are bike skills worth developing, and also they
allow a more sociable ride. Theserides have a very different style
from most GPC rides ; the GP-T-GR are more structured. Meet 9:30
a.m. at Orinda BART for a prompt departure. Route is to Danville
Peet's and back, with a snack stop at Peets. Rain cancels; if
weather is doubtful Rain cancels; if weather is doubtful an update
of the ride will be sent to the email list the night before; FOR
